Professional development hours are required for all faculty and staff as part of our annual performance evaluation. The number of hours suggested each year can be found in the Professional Development: Procedure solution article.


Professional Development Opportunities offered by Athens Technical College are advertised on our Intranet and credit for attendance is tabulated on the Intranet.


How to Register for Professional Development Sessions in the Intranet


  • Log into the Intranet from the Okta Single Sign On tile.

  • Choose Faculty/Staff Development from the left menu.

  • Select Courses Available to access the list of upcoming Professional Development sessions.

  • Select Register Now! to sign up for Professional Development sessions

  • You will see a Success message after registering for a session
