Lastly, adjust the test settings by selecting the gear icon in the “Assessment Settings” menu. Here you can adjust the due date, prohibit late submissions, adjust how the test is presented, select the grade category, adjust the number of attempts, enable Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor or SafeAssign, and provide a description. After adjusting the settings, select “Save”.

Instructors may elect to view the newly created test in a Student Preview. First, select “Student Preview” in the top right-hand side of the screen, view the test (or other created content) from a student’s perspective, then select “Exit” Student Preview to return to the Instructor role. It is best to select “Discard” changes so that the Student Preview User interaction is not saved to the course.
