What is a Master course at Athens Technical College?
At Athens Technical College, a Master course is a fully-formed course shell minus student data, ready to be deployed to term course shells. Content from a recent course can be copied to a Master shell so that it remains available to instructors for future use.
Master course shells benefit instructors in multiple ways:
- Keep course materials available after term courses have been archived
- Allow instructors to copy multiple times instead of building fresh every time
- Provide pre-built courses for adjunct faculty
- Provide a repository for course materials
You can add content to a Master shell by copying in a recent, up-to-date course, or by building a new course step by step beginning with the empty shell.
