Anytime you receive an authentication error, experience login issues, or cannot properly see your content, you should clear your browsing history.  Included in the attached document are directions for clearing your browser's history, and tips to help prevent your issue from reoccurring.  Please follow the attached instructions carefully.  If this does not resolve your issue, contacts for further assistance are included in the document.


The attached document will give you details for these steps:

  1. Notify your instructors
  2. Always use Chrome or Firefox; Chrome is preferred
  3. Prevent future issues: Always log out when finished (not just close the browser)
  4. Clear your browsing history (See attached document)
  5. Log into Blackboard again using Google Chrome or Firefox


It is also important that you are running the current version of Chrome. Older versions may present compatibility issues with Blackboard and other tools, including display issues and missing functionality.

Make sure your version of Chrome is up to date:

  1. Go to Settings > Help > About Google Chrome to check if your Chrome is up to date.
  2. If not, follow the instructions on the screen to update Chrome
  3. Select Get help with Chrome if you need assistance
